How It Works
Simple, Free, and Welcoming
Getting started with Supper at Home is as easy as sharing a family recipe. No credit card is ever required, and joining is completely free for everyone—hosts and diners alike.
Step 1 - Join the Community (Takes 1 Minute)
Head to supperathome.com and sign up with just a username and password. We'll immediately send you a verification email (check your inbox or spam folder). Click the link to verify your email—and that's it! You're in. Welcome to the Supper at Home family!
Step 2 - Choose Your Role (or Try Both!)
Once you're inside, decide what you'd like to do:
- Become a Host - Open your home and share your cooking passion with guests.
- Become a Diner - Discover authentic, home-cooked suppers near you or wherever you're traveling.
- Or do both! You can switch roles anytime or even be a host in one city and a diner in another.
No pressure, no commitment—explore at your own pace.
Step 3 - Get Started in Your Chosen Role
- If you want to be a Host: Go to the "Become a Host" section. Follow the simple, guided steps to set up your profile: share a bit about yourself, list the suppers you love to cook (Just one or two complete suppers is best), set your availability (open your calendar), and add any house rules. Once verified (we check for food safety handlers' certificate and good vibes), you're ready to welcome guests and start earning from your own kitchen.
- If you want to be a Diner: Browse the offerings in your area or any place you're visiting. You'll see real home cooks, their menus, photos, and availability. Pick a supper that excites you, reserve your spot, and look forward to a warm, personal meal cooked just for you—like visiting a friend or grandma's house.
Every supper you share or enjoy helps spread authentic home cooking, reduces waste, supports local families, and brings people together in a meaningful way. It's more than a meal—it's a small act that makes the world a little warmer.
